Pumpkin Pickin'

This past weekend my mom and I took Aric out to the

pumpkin patch in Caledonia.

He had so much fun running around,

trying to pick up the pumpkins!

Something about the green pumpkin was just so fascinating,

I wish it would have come home with me!

Aric got so excited, he didn't want to leave,

so he was trying to hide behind the tree

I absolutely LOVE the colors of fall!

Each and every time we go out on the boat, I bring the camera with hopes of capturing perfect shots of both Ken and his dad out skiing. I think these two are the closest I have gotten so far.

Aric absolutely loved going out on the disc with his Daddy! Every time we got him back in the boat, he wanted to go right back out!

Last summer was the beginning of all water events including the disc. It started with a chair that became so water logged, nobody could hang on to it long enough to get on the disc, and this year they have moved onto a step ladder on top of the disc...there is no saying what will be out there next summer!

Yes, this is Kyle. Yes, he just did a flip off the ladder on the disc.

Somehow we were even able to convince Daniel to test out the Disc!

The last day in Kentucky, we had a broken boat, and no replacement parts within a 4 hour drive, so we decided to head to the local water park. Aric had an absolute blast!

best friend from grade school, Jessie, and take
some amazing pictures of her! She just always has
this amazing glow, and manages to lighten my mood
just talking to her! <3 you Jessie

Track Day!

Ken's new thing is to take the bike out to Blackhawk Farms Raceway, in South Beloit. Aric and I joined him at the track over the 4th of July weekend, and managed to get some great shots!!!

Paul & Danielle's Engagement Shoot

This past Sunday I had the amazing opportnity to shoot some engagement photos for Danielle and Paul. I have known Danielle for around 10 or so years. Our aunts were best friends, so we hung out every summer vacation. Already being married myself, it was a blast to be a part of Danielle's engagement, and pre-wedding events!

Danielle wanted to take some pictures in Powell's Bookstore, they both had so much energy throughout the morning, playing on the ladder was hilarious!

Frozen Falls

Today we drove out the Columbia Gorge, to take in the natural beauty of the frozen waterfalls.

One of my favorites, the way the path is paved you can walk right up to the fall itself, and get some amazing shots. Today the entire path was a slippery sheet of ice, so I couldn't get too close, but it was still beautiful!
